Gold/KRAZEE QUILT I
This is my first crazy quilt. It has bits of everything in it. Little bits of nothing as my husband once put it, in it. One day bc, before crazy quilt, I was organizing my stash in front of my husband instead of hiding my addiction or downplaying my love of collecting fabric. He said , "Why don't you get rid of all these little bits, these little bits of nothing?!"Couldn't he see the potential of all of this stuff I collect, I thought. No of course not. Not until a couple of panels were made and then he wanted the quilt for his den. Life has it' s twists and turns and my sweetheart passed away. I finished the quilt as a way of getting through that terrible loss. Now it's the quilt's turn to help others. Even though the quilt needs special care / dry clean only/ I'm donating it to help raise some money for the PGRs. Hello , BITE ME westboro baptist church! For Christmas this year Santa, I would like to see the PGR site has a section for an online raffle of quilts. In memory of my beautiful husband, a Veteran btw, one way or another this quilt is getting donated. So if you like it. If you really, really like it ,contact them cause they are the ones who it is going to. There's all sorts of ways to help out with the containment of wbc's antics. Lead with your strengthes as they say. Works for me. I'll talk you through making your own crazy quilt. Who knows maybe someone , somewhere will donate another one or someone , somewhere will help put an online raffle feature onto the PGR website if that's what they want.
Blessings,
Boop
